Wow, I haven't updated here in a while.

I've been kinda busy, and kind of out of it.

How are you doing? :]

I read the most amazing book last night. I stayed up until 4 because I just couldn't stop reading.

It was.. incredible. It was amazing. It was intense and deep and horrifying.

It made me bawl like a little girl, and it made me smile like a halfwit.

It's How It Ends by Laura Wiess and you so totally need to read it.

I honestly can't put into words how this book made me feel. All I know is that I've never had a favorite book before, and now I do.

A few months ago I got the urge to stand on the side of the street with a neon green sign that says 'Have A Great Day!' while I wait for my bus, but I'm nervous to do it.

I don't want to get laughed at for trying to make people smile. :/

What would you do if you saw a random girl on the side of the street wishing you a great day?

Fun meme time. :]

Comment on this post & I will choose seven interests from your profile. You will then explain what they mean/why you are interested in them. Post this along with your answers in your own journal so that others can play along.
Makes sense? Oh well, here we go!

The ones chosen for me:
creative enchantment
faerie dust
glamour bombing
paying it forward

Creative enchantment: Well, this one actually doesn't have any meaning to me. It was in the interests of one of my favorite comms, and it caught my attention so I added it. :]
Faerie dust: I like faeries, and their dust. :]
Glamour bombing: Well, glamour bombing is when you leave a piece of art somewhere, and it usually has to do with faeries. For example, leaving a plastic egg somewhere full of glitter and a note about how it's pixie dust. I adore the idea, and I plan to start glamour bombing soon. :]
Gravity: Oh, gravity works!
If you get that quote, you get a cookie.
Otherkin: Otherkins are people that consider themselves to be fae, not human, basically. It's a lot more complicated than that, but I'm sure no one wants to hear my long, in depth rant. >.> So, we'll move on.
Paying It Foward: Something that everyone should do.
Sirens: aka mermaids. I adore mermaids.

For some reason, whenever I'm in a forest I think of death.

When I walk down a forest path, and I look around, all I can think of is bloated bodies hidden inches under the dirt, rotting as I step over them.

After hearing so many stories about people being slaughtered and left in the woods, I can't get it out of my head.

Which is a shame because I really like trees.

I seem to be having a slight problem lately.

Everywhere I go, I leave behind a trail of glitter. Honestly.

I ran my fingers absently down the wall today, and it's still catching the light and sparkling back at me. And it's not the only thing.

It's been going on for a couple weeks and it's kind of odd.

The only glitter I have is in the bottom of a drawer and I haven't been near it since Prom of 2008.

What's going on with me?

This is a question (or two) for whoever feels like answering. :]

Do you believe in ghosts?

How about faeries?

And why or why not for both?

I've always wanted a pair of those fairy wings.

I got some today and when I slid them on I felt more like myself than I have in a long time.

I'm so weird.

I wish I had a best friend.

It'd be so nice to share everything with someone. And to have someone to depend on.

I don't belong here.
